Abstract

The invention relates to a reinforcement component (22) for a motor vehicle body (2), comprising a first fastening area (23) by means of which the reinforcement component (22) can be fastened to a body component (11) projecting forward at a connection point (12) in the longitudinal direction (6) of the vehicle from an A-pillar part (10) of an A-pillar (9) of the motor vehicle body (2), by means of which a strut support (13) can be coupled to the A-pillar part (10), and comprising a second fastening area (24) by means of which the reinforcement component (22) can be fastened to the A-pillar part (10) at least partially covering the connection point (12) in the transverse direction (8) of the vehicle.
