Abstract
The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for determining an output torque for controlling an electric motor (1) of a chainless electric bicycle (2), comprising the steps of: receiving a cadence from a pedal-crank generator unit (3) (S10), receiving an input torque from the pedal-crank unit (3) (S20), providing a low-pass filter (S30), adjusting a time constant of the low-pass filter as a function of the received cadence (S40), determining a preliminary output torque based on the received input torque (S50), filtering the preliminary output torque to determine the output torque for controlling the electric motor (1) (S60), and providing the determined output torque for controlling the electric motor (1) (S70). The invention further relates to a data processing device (10), a computer program, a computer-readable storage medium, and an electric chainless bicycle (2).
