Abstract
The invention relates to a drive device (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising an internal combustion engine (2) which has a crankcase (3) and a crankshaft (6) rotatably mounted on the crankcase (3) and at least partially located within the crankcase (3), via which torques for driving the motor vehicle can be provided by the internal combustion engine (2). A separator device (15) is also provided, comprising a line (16) through which a liquid mixture consisting of oil and water mixed with the oil can flow. A centrifugal separator (17) is provided, supplied with the mixture flowing through the line (16), by means of which the oil can be separated from the water. A pump (18) is provided in addition to the internal combustion engine (2), by means of which the water can be actively pumped away from the centrifugal separator (17) after the oil has been separated from the water.
