Abstract

A system (200) for equalizing the state of charge and / or cell voltage of a plurality of storage cells (112) is described. The system (200) comprises a first transfer unit (201) configured to sequentially arrange storage cells (112) in individual load carriers (220). Furthermore, the system (200) comprises a buffer unit (202) arranged downstream of the first transfer unit (201) and configured to store the individual load carriers (220) with the storage cells (112) arranged therein for a specific equalization period, wherein each individual load carrier (220) is configured to adjust the state of charge and / or cell voltage of the storage cell (112) arranged in the respective load carrier (220) to a setpoint during the equalization period.The system (200) further comprises a second transfer unit (203) which is arranged downstream of the buffer unit (202) and which is designed to sequentially remove the storage cells (112) from the individual load carriers (220).
