Abstract

The invention relates to a method for estimating a postoperative curvature height (v(c)) of a phakic intraocular lens (9, 10) with haptic feet (15) for an eye (1) of a patient to be treated, wherein the method comprises the following steps: - Inputting biometric dimensions of the eye (1) to be treated to a computation unit (43), wherein the biometric dimensions comprise: ◯ a coronal diameter (D(kor)) of a haptic foot plane (14) for a phakic intraocular lens (9, 10) in the ciliary sulcus (7) of the eye (1), ◯ a first distance (Lr) perpendicular to the haptic foot plane (14) of this haptic foot plane (14) to an foremost point (18) of a natural lens (6) of the eye (1) along an optical axis (8) of the eye (1), - Inputting a first dimension (v(i)) of the preoperative phakic intraocular lens (10) to the computation unit (43), wherein the first dimension is an intrinsic curvature height (v(i)) in the optical axis (13) of the phakic intraocular lens (9,10) is,- Feeding a second dimension (v(a)) of the preoperative phakic intraocular lens (10) to the calculation unit (43), wherein the second dimension (v(a)) is an increase in height (v(a)) of the phakic intraocular lens (9, 10) in the optical axis (13) of the phakic intraocular lens (9, 10) beyond the intrinsic curvature height (v(i)),- Calculating a postoperative curvature height (v(c)) in the optical axis (13) of the phakic intraocular lens (9, 10) using the calculation unit (43), wherein for the calculation a sum of the first dimension (v(i)) and the second dimension (v(a)) is formed and the first distance (Lr) is subtracted from this sum,- Outputting the postoperative curvature height (v(c)) of the phakic intraocular lens (9, 10) to an output unit (44).,
