Abstract

A method for controlling a network (1) of interconnected battery-powered electrical devices (2), each of which is associated with at least one battery (3), comprises the steps of querying (S1) a control condition, determining (S2) a set of battery-powered electrical devices (2) that comprises at least a part of the total set of battery-powered electrical devices (2) when the control condition is met, obtaining (S3) a charge status (4) of the batteries (3) associated with at least the set of battery-powered electrical devices (2), selecting (S4) at least one battery-powered electrical device (2) from the set of battery-powered electrical devices (2) based on the obtained charge status (4); and controlling (S5) the at least one selected battery-powered electrical device (2) to perform a vibration detection.
