Abstract

One aspect of the invention relates to a cover element (10) for a sensor device for a motor vehicle, comprising a base plate (12), a heating film or a flexible printed circuit board (14), a glass layer (16), a cover layer (18), a PVD coating (20), and a plurality of individually controllable light elements (22) arranged such that light is coupled in from one or more directions. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a cover element (10).
