Abstract

The invention relates to a rotation angle limiter (1) of a handwheel actuator of a steer-by-wire steering system of a vehicle, wherein the rotation angle limiter (1) is configured to receive a steering shaft (2) rotatably mounted about an axis of rotation and to mechanically limit the rotation angle of the steering shaft (2) when it rotates about the axis of rotation, wherein at least one of the rolling elements (11) of the first rolling element cage (10) is designed as a rolling element roller (99) and at least one of the rolling elements (12, 13) is designed as a rolling bearing ball (19, 20), and only the rolling element roller (99) or only the rolling bearing ball (19, 20) of the first rolling element cage (10) contacts one of the rolling element stops (6, 28) and at least one of the rolling elements (31) of the second rolling element cage (30) is designed as a rolling element roller (41) and at least one of the rolling elements (32, 33) is designed as a rolling bearing ball (42, 43), and only the rolling element roller (41) or only the rolling bearing ball (42,43) of the second rolling element cage (30) runs against one of the rolling element stops (36, 39).
