Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for reducing overhead in NTN communications, carried out by a UE in communication with a wireless communication network comprising at least one NTN node. According to the invention, the UE receives specific group identifier information from a network node, wherein each group identifier (ID) is associated with a cell-specific store-and-forward timer, and an assignment between the group identifier and the cell-specific store-and-forward timer is sent via a system information message.
