Abstract

A water heating device comprises a water channel body with an elongated water channel within it, accessible only through an inlet and an outlet. A heating element is arranged on an outer surface of the water channel body. The water channel body is designed as a rectangular plate with an outer edge. The water channel runs in parallel lanes and has an inlet at one end and an outlet at the other, with the inlet and outlet located at the outer edge of the water channel body. An outer lane of the water channel begins at the inlet and runs along two outer edges of the water channel body, between the outer edge of the water channel body and the other lanes of the water channel, so that any cold water entering here cools the outer edge or edge region of the water channel body.
