Battery cell, cell contacting system and process

Abstract

The invention relates to a battery cell (10) for an electrical energy storage device for an electrically powered motor vehicle, comprising a housing (12) and at least one contacting area (16a) arranged on an outer housing wall (14), in which an electrical conductor of a cell contacting system can be contacted with an anode or cathode of the battery cell (10), wherein at least one second contacting area (16b) different from the first contacting area (16a) is arranged, and wherein both contacting areas (16a, 16b) are arranged on a contacting element (18) which is attached to the housing wall (12). The invention further relates to a cell contacting system and a method for electrically connecting battery cells (10).
