Abstract

Walking aid for a four-legged animal, preferably a dog, with a dysfunction of at least one leg, consisting of a chest harness (preferably consisting predominantly of straps and / or leather or textile for easier adjustability and greater wearing comfort) and a lower abdominal support, as well as a one- or multi-part upper frame held therein, from which two wheel carriers project downwards, on each of which at least one wheel is rotatably mounted, wherein each of the wheels carries a mudguard (preferably at least predominantly made of plastic), which is attached to the wheel carrier only or also in the area between the wheel and the wheel carrier (i.e. radially inwards from the running surface of the wheel to be covered by the mudguard).
