Abstract

A welding coupon for testing weld integrity comprises an upper blank and a lower blank in overlapping engagement with each other and connected by an electrical weld, each being adapted from the upper blank and the lower blank to distribute electrical current applied to the welding coupon evenly over the weld and to distribute tensile stress applied to the welding coupon evenly over the weld.
