Abstract
The invention relates to a method for controlling a drone (3) comprising an image acquisition unit (3.1) for capturing image data of a vehicle (1). According to the invention, it is provided that: - the drone (3) is first transmitted at least one predetermined ready position and / or another predefinable position for capturing image data of the vehicle (1); - the drone (3) moves to the ready position or the other predefinable position; - the drone (3) is transmitted the current position of the vehicle (1) along a route; and - when the vehicle (1) reaches the at least one ready position of the drone (3) or another predefinable position of the drone (3), image data of the vehicle (1) is automatically captured by the drone (3).
