Abstract
The invention relates to a control unit for an opening element (11) of a building, comprising: a communication device (19) designed to communicate with at least one alarm device (23, 25, 27), in particular to communicate wirelessly, wherein the communication device (19) – in a monitoring mode – monitors the communication with the at least one alarm device in order to detect a loss of connection, and – in a standby mode – does not monitor the communication; an energy storage device (14) designed to store and release energy in order to close the opening element (11); and a control element (18) designed to set the mode of the communication device (19).The invention is characterized by a detection device (20) designed to directly or indirectly detect the current state of the energy storage device (14) and to classify it into at least one of the following states: an unstressed state, a stressed state, an energy absorption state, and an energy release state, wherein the energy storage device is designed to store and release energy to close the opening element, wherein the control element (18) is designed to receive the detected state from the detection device (20) and, depending on the detected state, to set the communication device (19) to standby mode or monitoring mode and to cause the communication device (19) to send a message about the set mode to the at least one signaling device (23, 25, 27).The invention further relates to a signaling device for a control unit, a control system, a method for controlling a signaling device and a method for controlling a control unit.
