Abstract

The invention comprises a tower crane, a jib, a first trolley and a second trolley which are movable along the jib, wherein the first trolley has a first lower block suspended via a load rope with a load hook, wherein the second trolley is arranged between the first trolley and a tower of the tower crane, wherein the second trolley has a second lower block which is characterized by a coupling mechanism for releasably connecting the first trolley to the second trolley, wherein the coupling mechanism is designed to connect them when the first trolley moves towards the second trolley and to release the connection between the trolleys by lifting the first lower block towards an end stop.
