Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling and regulating an electric machine by means of an inverter, wherein at a speed (n) up to a corner speed (neck2, neck3) at a current limit (IG1, IG2) a control strategy with maximum torque per ampere is applied, wherein with a further increase in the speed (n) from the current limit (IG1, IG2) the control strategy with maximum torque per ampere is terminated, a clock frequency for operating the inverter for overmodulation is reduced to a block clock and a current from the inverter to the electric machine is increased at least initially.
