Abstract

The invention relates to a computer-implemented method and a corresponding patient evaluation system for detecting jaw and bite misalignments in a patient, as well as a device for detecting facial lines and a caliper for such a patient evaluation system. The object of the invention is to reduce the effort required to perform jaw and bite misalignment detection. In particular, the evaluation of parameters and documentation are to be simplified, thereby enabling the detection to be performed by dental practice staff. This object is achieved with a computer-implemented method designed to output instructions for the detection via an output unit and to record and evaluate parameters entered by an operator via a data input unit.Furthermore, to solve the problem, a patient evaluation system, a device for detecting facial lines with a bite fork for such a patient evaluation system, and a caliper for such a patient evaluation system are proposed.
