Abstract
The invention relates to a rotor (25) for a traction motor (12) of a rail vehicle (1). It comprises a rotor lamination stack (26) with a plurality of rotor laminations (27) and a number of poles of magnetic poles (P) distributed around an axis of rotation (17), each formed by permanent magnets (30) embedded in two magnetic pockets (31) of the rotor lamination stack (26). The magnetic pockets (31) of a magnetic pole (P) are each arranged in a V-shape relative to each other and axially symmetric about a d-axis (d) of the magnetic pole (P) and are formed by two pocket recesses (32) in the rotor laminations (27). The rotor laminations (27) each have a central web (36) extending between the two pocket recesses (32) and two edge webs (37) extending between one of the pocket recesses (32) and an outer edge (34) of the rotor lamination (27).By manufacturing the rotor laminations (27) in a multi-component manner using an additive forming process, and by each having a ring body (33) made of a first material component and central webs (36) and edge webs (37) made of a second material component, each separated from the ring body (3), wherein the first material component has a greater magnetic conductivity than the second material component, and wherein the second material component has equal or greater mechanical strength than the first material component, a rotor (25) can be provided whose rotor laminations (27) can be manufactured in an optimized manner with respect to their locally different requirements for physical properties.
