Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for ABS control of a vehicle's braking system, and a braking system configured to carry out the method. It is intended to provide an improved ABS control method as a fallback in the event of a partial failure of the braking system. The ABS control method is executed after the detection (100) of a reduced number of speed signals. If the slip of at least one of the monitored vehicle wheels exceeds a predetermined threshold, a pressure supply device (120, 130, 150, 170) is activated to reduce the brake pressure at all wheel brakes equally until the slip of at least one of the vehicle wheels falls below the predetermined threshold again.
