Abstract

The invention relates to an integrated circuit comprising an input interface (2) via which a digital control signal can be supplied to the integrated circuit (1), wherein the integrated circuit (1) has a termination circuit (3) which is connected to the input interface (2) and which terminates the input interface (2) to a logical switching state. The termination circuit (3) has a Schmitt trigger (3.1), wherein the input of the Schmitt trigger (3.1) is electrically coupled to the input interface (2) and wherein the output of the Schmitt trigger (3.1) is coupled to at least one circuit section (3.2) of the termination circuit (3), wherein the circuit section (3.3) of the termination circuit (3.3) is configured to, at a first output level of the Schmitt trigger (3.1),1) to terminate the input interface (2) to a first logical switching state and, at a second output level of the Schmitt trigger (3.1), to terminate the input interface (2) to a second logical switching state.
