Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle (1) with at least one side sill (3) which has at least one cavity (3a), with at least one vehicle wheel (8) arranged in the longitudinal direction (10) in front of the side sill (3) and rotatable about a wheel axis (7), which is at least partially arranged in a wheel housing (11), with an air duct (13) through which air (12) can flow, with an air inlet opening (14) through which air (12) can be introduced from an environment (15) of the motor vehicle (1) into the air duct (13), and with an air outlet opening (17) opening into the wheel housing (11).via which at least a part of the air (12) introduced into the air duct (13) can be discharged from the air duct (13) and guided in the transverse direction (4) of the vehicle along the outside of the vehicle wheel (8) and in the longitudinal direction (10) to the rear and can be introduced into the cavity (3a) of the side sill (3) via an inlet opening (18) provided on the side sill (3).
