Abstract

The present invention relates to a cartridge case (1) for ammunition, comprising a rotationally shaped base piece (3) which has metal, in particular made of metal, for receiving a primer, wherein the base piece (3) has a sleeve-side collar (13) bent radially inwards which forms an undercut (17) in the longitudinal direction, and a sleeve jacket (5) produced by overmolding the collar with plastic material to form a positive connection with the collar (13) for receiving a projectile.
