Abstract

An internal heat exchanger (20) of a refrigeration system (10) is described, comprising at least three refrigerant line sections (22-1, 22-2, 22-3) running side by side, in particular parallel to each other, wherein at least two of the refrigerant line sections (22-1, 22-2, 22-3) are capable of or are subject to refrigerant flow in a counterflow principle; a first valve assembly (24) arranged at a first end (E1) of the refrigerant line sections (22-1, 22-2, 22-3); a second valve assembly (26) arranged at a second end (E2) of the refrigerant line sections (22-1, 22-2, 22-3); wherein the first valve assembly (24) and the second valve assembly (26) are configured to open or close each of the refrigerant line sections (22-1, 22-2, 22-3) for a refrigerant volume flow. Furthermore, a refrigeration system (10) with such an internal heat exchanger (20) and a motor vehicle with such a refrigeration system (10) are described.
