Holding system for a hybrid manufacturing process for dental tools

Abstract

A holding system (100) for holding a plurality of plate segment elements (110) in a hybrid manufacturing process for producing a plurality of dental workpieces (170) using an additive manufacturing step and a subtractive post-processing step is disclosed. The holding system (100) comprises the plurality of plate segment elements (110), a base plate (130), and one or more holding adapters (144). The plate segment elements (110) are configured to be interchangeable between the base plate (130) and the one or more holding adapters (144). Each plate segment element (110) comprises a plate segment (112) and a base section (116). The base plate (130) is configured for assembly in an additive manufacturing device (330) for the additive manufacturing of the dental workpieces (170).The one or more holding adapters (144) are configured for mounting in one or more subtractive manufacturing devices (340) for subtractive post-processing of the dental workpieces (170).
