Abstract

A portable air pump (10; 10a) comprises a pump assembly (20) and an accessory assembly (30; 30a). The pump assembly (20) includes a valve connector (21; 21a), a cylinder (22), and a piston tube (23; 23a). One end of the cylinder (22) is connected to the valve connector (21; 21a). One end of the piston tube (23; 23a) extends from an end of the cylinder (22) opposite the valve connector (21; 21a) into the cylinder (22), and an accessory connection section (231; 231a) is provided at the other end of the piston tube (23; 23a) opposite the valve connector (21; 21a). The accessory assembly (30; 30a) is detachably connected to the accessory connection section (231; 231a).
