Abstract

Device (10) for securing a piece of luggage (11) for the interior of a vehicle (50), comprising: a luggage receiving unit (12) configured to hold the piece of luggage (11) and a securing unit (13) for securing the piece of luggage (11), wherein the securing unit (13) comprises a securing bracket (14) configured to secure the piece of luggage (11) against falling out of the luggage receiving unit (12) in a first position (24), wherein the securing bracket (14) is configured to allow the piece of luggage (11) to be removed and placed into the luggage receiving unit (12) in a second position (26), wherein the securing unit (13) comprises a bearing (15) for the securing bracket (14), which is configured toto be moved via a translational movement from the first position (24) to an intermediate position (25) and to be moved via a rotational movement from the intermediate position (25) to the second position (26), wherein the rotational movement is blocked in the first position (24).
