Abstract

The invention relates to a permeability measuring device and a method for determining the permeability of a test specimen 9, wherein a test container 17 is provided, the test container 17 having a first measuring chamber 2 and a second measuring chamber 3, wherein the first measuring chamber 2 and the second measuring chamber 3 each have at least one pressure sensor 4, 5 for detecting a pressure within the respective measuring chamber 2, 3, and wherein the first measuring chamber 2 and the second measuring chamber 3 can each be sealed pressure-tight, wherein a test specimen 9 is arranged between the first measuring chamber 2 and the second measuring chamber 3, so that the first measuring chamber 2 is spatially separated from the second measuring chamber 3, wherein the first measuring chamber 2 is filled with a first test fluid 10 and the second measuring chamber 3 with a second test fluid 11.wherein the permeability of the test specimen 9 for the first test fluid 10 and the second test fluid 11 is determined on the basis of a measured first pressure profile in the first measuring chamber 2 and the second measuring chamber 3 and an assumed or measured second pressure profile in the first measuring chamber 2 and the second measuring chamber 3.
