Abstract

The invention relates to a filter element (10) for a filter system (100) for filtering a fluid, in particular for filtering air, with a frame element (50) which surrounds at least a planar filter medium body (12) at least partially, wherein the frame element (50) has at least one retaining element (20) for receiving a fastening element (126) when connected to a filter housing (110) of the filter system (100). The at least one retaining element (20) has a movably mounted, in particular pivotably mounted, receiving part (42) which, at least in a starting state without a received fastening element (126) in the retaining element (20), is in a starting position (30) and is in an end position (32) pivoted relative to the starting position (30) to receive the fastening element (126). The invention further relates to a filter system (100) with a filter element (10).
