Abstract

A resealable beverage can closure for attaching to a beverage can (10) comprises a retaining ring (28) for snapping into a ring groove (18) on the can. The retaining ring (28) is part of a base body that encloses a drinking opening (44). A lid (26) is attached to the base body (24) via a film hinge (25). To prevent the lid (26) from lifting off the base body (24) when the opened can is shaken, a positive locking connection is provided above the film hinge (25), with a pin (56) that engages in a recess. The pin and recess are located on the lid (26) and on the retaining ring (28).
