Impact device and method for treating an impact material

Abstract

An impact device for processing impact material is provided. The impact device comprises a curved tube rotatably attached to the device and includes an inlet and outlet opening for the impact material. A lower portion of the tube has an internal base section extending from the outlet opening into this internal area, defining the exit direction of the impact material from the tube's outlet opening. Furthermore, the impact device includes an impact plate rotatably attached to the device, having an impact surface arranged radially to a central axis (axis of rotation) of the tube. The impact surface of the impact plate is positioned at a predefined and adjustable angle to the base section of the lower portion of the tube.The impact device also includes a motor suitable for rotating the tube and the impact plate, and a control unit configured to control the motor.
