Abstract
The present invention relates to restoring forces in Bowden cables. To provide the simplest and most flexible possible return of handles, a connection device (10) for two Bowden cables of a locking device for a movable locking component of a motor vehicle is provided. The connection device has an end piece (12) for receiving a first and second Bowden cable, a coupling latch (14) for transmitting an actuating force from the first and second Bowden cable to the locking device, and a spring element (16). The end piece has connections (18, 20) for the first and second Bowden cable and a mounting area (22) for axial support. The coupling latch is slidably held between a starting position (AS) and an actuating position (BS) and has a force application area (24) and a force output area (26).The force output section has a connection port (28) for transmitting an actuating force to the locking device. The force input section has a first coupling receptacle (30) for a first connection (32) of the first Bowden cable and a second coupling receptacle (34) for a second connection (36) of the second Bowden cable. The first and second coupling receptacles each have a stop (38) for the respective connection for transmitting a tensile force to the coupling bolt, as well as a movement space (40) extending from the stop in the longitudinal direction of the core opposite a stop direction for the respective connection. The spring element pushes the coupling bolt with a preload force towards the initial position, so that a restoring force acts on the first and second Bowden cables.
