Abstract

The present invention relates to a shopping basket (1) made from a single-piece blank (2) with a base (21), end elements (24), first (22) and second (23) side elements, which may in particular be made of cardboard, corrugated cardboard and / or another recyclable material; wherein the shopping basket (1) is characterized in that at least one of the first side elements (22) comprises two fastening slots (223) spaced apart from each other by a distance (D); and that the shopping basket (1) comprises at least one retaining loop (3), wherein the retaining loop (3) can be connected to the shopping basket (1) via said fastening slots (223). The shopping basket (1) according to the invention advantageously has a similarly high level of stability and stackability as conventional shopping baskets and at the same time offers the user the possibility of conveniently transporting a handheld scanner (5) during shopping and having it readily available at all times.It is inexpensive and environmentally friendly to produce and can be easily and quickly disassembled into individual components of a raw material type for disposal - also without the use of tools - and recycled.
