Abstract

The invention relates to a housing seal for a high-voltage battery, wherein the housing seal comprises a sealing body forming a first sealing surface for contact with a first housing component and a second sealing surface for contact with a second housing component. The housing seal is characterized in particular by the fact that the sealing body has at least one fastening projection designed to hold the housing seal on the first housing component. A housing seal is proposed which enables secure retention of the housing seal on a first housing component during assembly.
