Abstract

A fastening device (1) comprises a fastening element (2), a sensor device (20), and a radio device (30) electrically connected to the sensor device (20), and is characterized in that the fastening element (2) can be inserted at least sectionally into the opening of the support structure (51) along an insertion direction (41), and at least one translational degree of freedom of the fastening device (1) can be blocked against the insertion direction (41) by forming an undercut on or behind the support structure (50), wherein at least a part of the fastening element (2) is configured to be elastically deformed when inserted into the opening (51), a physical quantity changed due to the elastic deformation can be detected by the sensor device (20), and information that allows at least one inference about the elastic deformation is available.for monitoring the assembly process of the fastening element (2) on the supporting structure (50) by means of the radio device (30) in the form of at least one radio signal.
