Device for UV exposure

Abstract

The present invention relates to a device (100) for UV exposure of radiation-curing polymer layers (11) on components (1), in particular protective layers on end lenses of automotive lighting devices, comprising at least one exposure unit (2) for emitting UV radiation into an exposure zone (20) and a conveyor belt (3) for conveying the components (1) through the exposure zone (20). According to the invention, the device (100) has a conveying tunnel (4) in which the exposure zone (20) is located and which is traversed by the conveyor belt (3), wherein the device (100) has an inerting system (5) for generating an inert gas atmosphere in the exposure zone (20).
