Abstract

The invention relates to a center console (1) for a motor vehicle, with a support area (7) by means of which the center console (1) can be supported on an instrument panel of the motor vehicle, wherein a holding device (11) is provided by means of which the center console can be moved in the vertical direction (4) and in the transverse direction (12) of the vehicle relative to the instrument panel (8) and attached to a floor element (2) of the motor vehicle.
