Applicator holder for a non-invasive ventilation system and ventilation system with the applicator holder

Abstract

The invention relates to an applicator holder for a non-invasive ventilation system, in particular a CPAP ventilation system, for fixing a Y-piece (2) and a patient interface (1) connected thereto to a forehead support (3) designed as a plastic component. The applicator holder comprises a retaining clip (4), also designed as a plastic component, with two clamping arms (4.2), which can be linearly guided and attached to a retaining segment (3.1) of the forehead support (3) by means of a positive and non-positive clamping connection. The retaining clip (4) further comprises a guide pin (4.1) which has a hole or recess for receiving and anchoring a fastening element for attaching the retaining clip (4) to the Y-piece (2). The applicator holder enables stable and easily releasable fixation of the Y-piece (2) with linear adjustability for precise height adjustment of the patient interface (1).The plastic components forming the forehead support (3) and the retaining clip (4) are free of ferromagnetic ingredients, so that the ventilation system equipped with the applicator holder can also be used for non-invasive ventilation of patients (8) during magnetic resonance imaging examinations.
