Abstract

The following descriptions relate to a test device (1) for the operational function testing of elevator components (2) in an elevator system (3), wherein the elevator system (3) has an elevator shaft (4) with a stationary reference system, at least one guide rail (5) arranged along the elevator shaft (4), and at least one elevator component (2) with at least one functional interface (6) for signal, communication, energy and / or force transmission, the test device (1) comprising: a drive means (7) for moving the test device (1) through the elevator shaft (4) on the guide rail (5); and at least one functional test means (8) which is configured to check an operational function of a functional interface (6) of an elevator component (2).
