Abstract

The invention relates to a method for reducing the fogging of spectacle lenses in a vehicle (1).According to the invention, it is provided that: - based on image signals captured by an interior sensor system (2), fogged-up lenses of glasses worn by an occupant are detected; - the vehicle automatically issues a recommendation to remove the glasses and position them in an airflow area in front of a ventilation nozzle (5) or in a glasses compartment (6); - when it is detected that the glasses are positioned in the airflow area of ​​the ventilation nozzle (5) or the glasses compartment (6), an airflow from the ventilation nozzle (5) or a heating device (7) of the glasses compartment (6) is controlled in such a way that the glasses are heated by air flowing out via the ventilation nozzle (5) or by the heating device (7) relative to the interior temperature of the vehicle (1); and - when it is detected that the glasses are sufficiently heated to prevent re-fogging, a message is issued indicating that the glasses can be put on.Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for carrying out the method.
