Abstract

The present invention relates to a cutter rotor device for horizontally shredding and / or cutting grass and / or straw material or similar, comprising a first rotor disk with a plurality of cutting teeth arranged radially circumferentially on the rotor disk and bent downwards, i.e. in a direction transverse to a rotor disk plane out of the disk plane, a second rotor disk with a plurality of cutting teeth arranged radially circumferentially on the rotor disk and bent upwards, i.e. in a direction opposite to the first rotor disk transversely to a rotor disk plane out of the disk plane, both rotor disks rotating about a common axis of rotation, such that both rotor disks are arranged axially one above the other on a common vertical rotor axis,wherein the divergingly arranged cutting teeth define a horizontal cutting area between them and, in contrast to conventional brushcutters with a single cutting disc, the two rotor discs work together to shred the material in a defined horizontal space and the cutting teeth of one rotor disc are bent away from the cutting teeth of the other rotor disc in a vertical direction.
