Abstract

An axial flux machine (20) comprising a stator (26) with coils (50) and a rotor (30), wherein the rotor (30) is rotatably mounted about a bearing (48), wherein the stator (26) is arranged radially spaced from the bearing (48) at least partially adjacent to the bearing (48), wherein a first housing part, designed as a main bearing housing support part (22), is connected to a bearing support (46) in the axial direction away from the stator (26), wherein a second housing part (24) is connected to the first housing part, wherein the first housing part, as the main bearing housing support part (22), has stiffening ribs (56) on a side facing away from the stator (26), wherein the second housing part (24) has stiffening ribs (56) on a side facing towards and away from the stator (26), wherein the stiffening ribs (56) are arranged to each other in such a way as to ensure purely radial fluid flow (54) to form between the main bearing housing support part (22) and the second housing part (24),wherein a transfer point (55b) is arranged radially inside each fluid guide (54), which is designed to form a fluid guide to or from the coils (50). An insulation (28) is arranged to form a fluid guide over the coils (50) with the first housing part (22) closer to the stator (26).
