Description

The invention relates to a furniture drive with a swivel drive, which has a swivel transmission mechanism for swivel adjustment of two furniture component coupling pieces, and wherein the furniture component coupling pieces are designed to be arranged, in particular attached, to each furniture component. The invention further relates to a piece of furniture with two furniture components that can pivot relative to each other and at least one furniture drive. Such furniture drives can be used on furniture where two furniture components can be pivoted against each other, in particular on adjustable slatted frames for adjusting parts of the slatted frame, on beds, or on seating furniture, especially armchairs. From DE 102 40 230 A1, a drive for adjusting swiveling furniture components is known. In this drive, a spindle acts on an actuating element by activating the drive. The actuating element then moves towards a driver, which in turn moves a crossbeam. This enables the furniture components to be adjusted from their home position. DE 10 2005 001 877 A1 shows an armchair with a kinematic mechanism for adjusting a calf section. Starting from a horizontal position, the calf section can be pivoted about a first pivot axis in a first kinematic phase by means of a first drive unit, so that the calf section can be moved essentially by 90°. In a second kinematic phase, the calf section can be pivoted by a further 90° by movement about a second pivot axis by means of a second drive unit. DE 20 2007 016 435 U1 discloses a swivel fitting for connecting two seating elements, for example, a backrest and a headrest, of a piece of seating furniture. The swivel fitting has a support bracket and a swivel element, the swivel element being movable relative to the support bracket. This is achieved by the design of two crank mechanisms coupled to actuating elements that can move in elongated holes when the swivel element is moved. This allows adjustment from a bent position to a horizontal position. DE 20 2012 103 699 U1 also shows a swivel joint fitting for upholstered furniture. This allows a backrest to be adjusted from a horizontal to a substantially vertical position. This is achieved by moving two sections of a longitudinal guide relative to each other about a fixed pivot point. From DE 100 46 751 A1, a slatted frame is known which has various support areas for supporting a person's body. These support areas can be pivoted relative to a supporting frame by means of a motor-adjustable support device. Swivel drives are used for this purpose. During this swiveling movement, the available support surface formed by the individual sections shortens or lengthens, depending on the direction of rotation. It can then sometimes happen that a support, in particular a mattress, resting on the support surface no longer lies completely flat on the support, but is pushed slightly beyond the head or foot end of the slatted frame or is set back from this end. There are also armchairs that feature a swiveling calf rest attached to the seat. In the extended swivel position, the calf rest extends the seat surface. In the folded swivel position, the calf rest is folded downwards, for example, under the seat. If the seat and calf rest are covered by a single pad, this pad is stretched across the swivel area when the chair is folded down. When the calf rest is extended, the pad folds out within the swivel area, which is often perceived as visually distracting. It is therefore an object of the invention to create a furniture drive of the type mentioned above that prevents or reduces an unwanted change in position or design of the support in the swivel range of the furniture drive. It is also an object of the invention to provide a piece of furniture with a furniture drive, wherein an unwanted change in position or design of the support in the swivel range of the furniture drive is prevented or reduced. The problem concerning the furniture drive is solved by using a translational drive with an actuator between the two furniture component couplings. This actuator allows at least part of the swivel transmission mechanism, together with one of the furniture component couplings, to be translationally, and in particular linearly, adjustable relative to the second furniture component coupling. With this furniture drive, the distance between the couplings can be changed by means of the translational drive. This compensates for changes in the component length spanned by the two furniture components caused by the swivel movement of the swivel transmission mechanism. This allows the geometric relationships in the area of the spanned component length to be adjusted. This consequently leads to a reduction in undesirable changes in the position of the support or a folding of the support, which is guided over the spanned component length, during the swiveling movement or at least in two swiveling positions. Preferably, at least in some areas of the pivoting motion caused by the pivot transmission mechanism, the translational drive is simultaneously active to adjust the furniture component couplings. However, it is also conceivable that the pivoting and translational movements occur at least partially separately in time. A simple design can be implemented according to a preferred embodiment of the invention if it is provided that the translationally adjustable actuator of the translation drive is coupled to one of the coupling pieces via the pivot transmission mechanism of the pivot drive. The number of parts required for a furniture drive according to the invention can be reduced if it is provided that the swivel drive and the translational drive can be adjusted simultaneously by means of a drive unit, in particular by means of an electric motor, wherein it is preferably provided that a gearbox driven by the drive unit simultaneously drives the swivel drive and the translational drive. To achieve a compact design, it can be provided that the electric motor drives a transmission shaft via its drive shaft, and that a sliding piece of the translational drive and / or a coupling piece of the rotary drive are driven indirectly or directly via the transmission shaft, in particular adjusted linearly. It can be provided, in particular, that the drive shaft and the transmission shaft are positioned transversely to each other, in particular perpendicular to each other. It can also be the case that two furniture drives according to the invention are coupled to the transmission shaft. This means that only one electric motor is required to move both furniture drives and adjust the two furniture components relative to each other. As already indicated above, a furniture drive can preferably be designed such that the positioning movement of the translational drive and the pivoting movement of the rotary drive are synchronized, at least in certain areas. To achieve this function, it can preferably be provided that the transmission shaft carries a transmission gear, in particular a worm gear or a bevel gear, and that the transmission gear drives output gears on diametrically opposite sides, in particular meshing with gears, wherein the first output gear drives the coupling piece directly or indirectly, and the second output gear drives the sliding piece directly or indirectly. Preferably, at least one of the output gears has an internal thread that interacts with an external thread of the sliding piece and / or the coupling piece to form a screw drive. This allows high actuating forces to be transmitted effectively in a small installation space. Preferably, depending on the direction of rotation, it can be provided that the thread axis or both thread axes are arranged transversely to the axis of rotation of the transmission shaft. One possible embodiment of the invention is such that the swivel transmission mechanism comprises two gear elements whose teeth mesh with each other, preferably directly, to transmit the swivel motion. Large swivel ranges can be easily achieved with such a design. Swivel ranges greater than 90° can preferably be easily implemented. Furthermore, the meshing gears guarantee the transmission of high forces without slippage. A furniture drive according to the invention can be such that one of the gear elements has a base part which is connected to the associated furniture component coupling piece, in particular in a rotationally fixed manner. This furniture component coupling can be designed with a support that, together with a section and attached legs, creates a U-shaped recess in which the base part of the toothed element is held. This design offers high rigidity, enabling it to transmit large loads. At the same time, the toothed element is, at least partially, protected within the recess. One possible embodiment of the invention is such that one of the gear elements has two spaced-apart retaining elements adjacent to the base part, between which a receptacle is formed, and that a rotary drive element of the rotary drive is pivotably mounted in the receptacle. This results in optimized power transmission between the gear element and the rotary drive element. To reduce the risk of injury, the actuator of the translational drive may be designed to have or form a housing in which the swivel transmission mechanism is partially enclosed. This housing thus reduces the accessibility of the drive components. If the housing is designed with two housing parts, each forming a projection, with each projection having a toothed section, and if the toothed sections of the housing parts together form the toothed element, then the number of parts and the assembly effort for the furniture drive are reduced. Furthermore, this allows for the simple creation of tooth geometries that are adequately dimensioned for the expected loads. Preferably, the gear elements are formed integrally with the housing parts. It is advantageous if the housing parts are made of plastic, particularly injection-molded parts. It is also conceivable that in the area of the housing joint, where the housing parts are joined, a swivel drive element of the swivel drive extends from the housing and is connected to the other gear element. The swivel drive element then allows the two gear elements to be adjusted relative to each other. A furniture drive according to the invention can be characterized in that the two gear elements each have a pivot bearing, that a pivot drive element is pivotably mounted on the pivot bearings, and that the pivot drive element is part of a planar gearbox. The planar gearbox allows for a flat design that can be placed in or on the furniture in a space-saving manner. Preferably, a drive element on the pivot drive element is pivotably mounted at a bearing boss spaced apart from the pivot bearings. If a sliding guide is provided between the furniture component coupling piece and the translationally adjustable actuator, then the translational movement can be reliably transmitted and lateral forces acting on the translational drive can be reduced. To reduce the risk of injury, it may also be provided that the transition area between the furniture component coupling piece and the translationally adjustable actuator is at least partially covered by a cover. Preferably, the cover may have one or more guide elements that cooperate with the sliding guide of the actuator. The problem relating to the furniture of the invention is solved by the features of claim 14. According to one embodiment of the invention, it may be provided that two furniture drives are provided which can be driven by means of a common drive, in particular an electric motor, and wherein the positioning movement of the furniture drives is synchronized with each other by means of a transmission element, in particular with the transmission shaft. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawings. The drawings show: Fig. 1: a schematic representation of a piece of furniture with two furniture drives in a first functional position; Fig. 2: the furniture according to Fig. 1 in a modified functional position; Fig. 3: a first embodiment of a furniture drive for adjusting two furniture components relative to each other in a side view; Fig. 4: the furniture drive according to Fig. 3 in a perspective view from an oblique angle above; Fig. 5: the furniture drive according to Figs. 3 and 4 in a perspective view from an oblique angle below; Fig. 6: the furniture drive according to Figs. 3, 4 to 5 in a partially disassembled view and in a perspective view; Fig. 7: the furniture drive according to Figs. 3, 4, 5 to 6 in a further partially disassembled view and in a perspective view.Fig. 8: an invention variant with two furniture drives in front view, Fig. 9: a further embodiment of a furniture drive in perspective side view and Fig. 10: the furniture drive according to Fig. 9 in a perspective side view opposite the side view according to Fig. 9. Figures 1 and 2 show a piece of furniture 100 with a stationary furniture component 101 and a furniture component 102 that is pivotable relative to the stationary furniture component 101. The pivotable furniture component 102 can be adjusted relative to the stationary furniture component 101 by means of a furniture drive 10 according to the invention. The piece of furniture 100 can be any type of furniture 100 in which two furniture components 101, 102 are pivotable relative to each other. In the present embodiment, the furniture 100 is designed as a seat, in particular as an armchair. The fixed furniture component 101 can be formed by a backrest 130 or a seat 110 of the furniture 100. A calf support 120 and a headrest 140 are shown as examples of pivotable furniture components 102 in drawings 1 and 2. The furniture 100 preferably has a frame 104 with which it is placed on the floor. The furniture 100 may be at least partially covered by a support 105, the support 105 preferably serving to accommodate at least a portion of a user's body. The support 105 may be a furniture cover or other furniture support, in particular a mattress, padding, or the like. In the present embodiment, the support 105 forms a seat cushion 106, to which a back support 103 and a calf section 107 are attached. Fig. 1 illustrates a position in which the calf support 120 is positioned so that a user sitting on the seat 110 can support their calves. The calf support 120 can be adjusted between the support position shown in Fig. 1 and the folded-down position shown in Fig. 2 by means of the furniture drive 10. The furniture drive 10 is designed so that any intermediate position between these two extreme positions can be reached and locked. The drawings illustrate that the support 105 at least partially covers the pivoting area formed between the stationary furniture component 101 and the pivotable furniture component 102. The furniture drive 10 according to the invention compensates for changes in the spanded component length within the pivoting area, at least partially. This prevents the support 105 from folding undesirably during the pivoting movement. It also prevents the calf section 107 of the support 105 from extending beyond the calf support 120 with its free end during this movement. In principle, the same facts apply to the second furniture drive 10 shown in Fig. 1, which serves to adjust the headrest 140, as described above and below. To achieve the adjustment of the two furniture components 101, 102, the furniture drive 10 has two furniture component coupling pieces 20, 50. One furniture component coupling piece 50 is connected to the stationary furniture component 101 and the second furniture component coupling piece 20 is connected to the swiveling furniture component 102, i.e., for example, the calf support 120 or the headrest 140. A pivoting transmission mechanism 30 is used to pivot the two furniture component coupling pieces 20, 50 relative to each other. Furthermore, a translational drive 70 with an actuator 40 is active between the two furniture component coupling pieces 20, 50. By means of the translational drive 70, at least a part of the pivoting transmission mechanism 30, together with the furniture component coupling piece 20, is adjustable translationally, in particular linearly, relative to the second furniture component coupling piece 50. In the present embodiment, during a pivoting movement towards larger pivot angles, the two furniture component coupling pieces 20, 50 are increasingly spaced further apart by means of the translational drive 70, as shown in the sequence of figures according to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2. Accordingly, the pivot angle according to Fig. 2 is 90°, while in Fig. 1 it is, for example, 180°. When moving from Fig. 2 to Fig. 1, the translational drive 70 is extended to further space the furniture component coupling pieces 20, 50 apart. Conversely, the translational drive 70 is retracted when the pivoting movement is towards smaller pivot angles. Figures 3, 4, 5, 6 to 7 show an embodiment of a furniture drive 10 according to the invention. As these illustrations show, the furniture component coupling piece 20 can have a support 21 on which the pivotable furniture component 102 can be supported, and in particular also attached. The support 21 may, for example, have a section 22 to which two spaced-apart legs 23, 24 are connected. The legs 23, 24 and the section 22 enclose a receptacle 25. A toothed element 31 of the pivot transmission mechanism 30 is preferably housed in this receptacle 25. The shape of the toothed element 31 is shown by way of example in Fig. 6. As shown in Fig. 6, the toothing element 31 may have a base part 33 which carries a toothing 32. The toothing 32 may be designed similarly to the teeth of a gear. Fig. 6 further illustrates that the base part 33 may have two retaining elements 34, which are spaced apart from each other. A receptacle 34.1 is formed in the area between the retaining elements 34. Each of the retaining elements 34 may form a partial toothing, which together form the toothing 32, at least in part. A rotary drive element 68 of a rotary drive 60 can preferably be inserted in the area of the inlet 34.1. Preferably, the rotary drive element 68 is pivotably connected to the gear element 31 by means of a pivot bearing 35. To connect the furniture component coupling piece 20 to the toothed element 31, screw receptacles 36 are provided in the base part 33. These can be aligned with the mounting receptacles 26 of the furniture component coupling piece 20. Fastening screws can be passed through the mounting receptacles 26 and screwed into the screw receptacles 36. Thus, the toothed element 31 is pivotally fixed to the furniture component coupling piece 20. As mentioned above, the furniture drive 10 has a swivel transmission mechanism 30. This swivel transmission mechanism 30 has a second gear element 37 which interacts with the first gear element 31. For this purpose, the second gear element 37 also has a tooth 38 which meshes with the tooth 32 of the gear element 31. For a motion transmission between the two gear elements 31, 37, the rotary drive element 68 may have a swivel bearing 68.3 which is pivotably coupled to a swivel bearing 39 of the gear element 37. The figures illustrate that the pivot axes of the pivot bearings 68.3 and 35 lie in the centers of rotation of the gear teeth 32, 38 of the gear elements 31, 37. The rotary drive element 68 has at least two levers 68.1, 68.2. One lever 68.2 is located in the area between the two pivot bearings 68.3 and 35. Preferably, the lever 68.2 forms a bearing projection 68.5 at its free end, which is inserted in the area of the receptacle 34.1 of the gear element 31 and pivotably mounted there. The rotary drive element 68 preferably forms a bearing boss 68.4. A drive element 67 is pivotably coupled to this bearing boss 68.4, for example by means of a bearing pin 66. The second lever 68.1 is formed by the bearing boss 68.4. To achieve stress-optimized power transmission between the drive member 67 and the rotary drive element 68, the drive member 67 can be designed as a two-armed lever forming two spaced-apart lever sections 67.1. The rotary drive element 68 is held between the two lever sections 67.1. Of course, other shapes and configurations of the drive member 67 are also conceivable, e.g., a one-piece drive member 67.1. For improved component stability, the two lever sections 67.1 can be connected to each other in one piece by a connecting piece 67.2. At its end furthest from the rotary drive element 68, the drive member 67 is coupled to a coupling piece 65 of the rotary drive 60. The drive member 67 can be pivotally coupled to the coupling piece 65 by means of a bearing pin 65.2. It is also conceivable that, in a configuration of the drive member 67 with two lever pieces 67.1, the two lever pieces 67.1 are arranged on either side of the coupling piece 65. It may be that the coupling piece 65 is connected to a spindle holder 64, in particular that it is part of a spindle holder 64. As shown in Fig. 6, it is preferably provided that a swivel drive 60 is used in a furniture drive 10 to adjust the swivel transmission mechanism 30. Preferably, the swivel drive 60 uses a screw drive to effect this adjustment. According to one embodiment shown in Fig. 6, a spindle 61 with an external thread may be used. This spindle 61 is fixed against rotation, for example in or on a receptacle of the spindle holder 64. A driven gear, which in the present embodiment is designed as a gear 63, in particular as a helical gear 63, with an internal thread, is screwed onto the external thread of the spindle 61. The driven gear is rotatably mounted by means of bearings 62, for example in a housing of the furniture drive 10. If the screw drive arrangement according to Fig. 6 is implemented, the spindle 61 is linearly adjusted in the direction of the spindle axis as a result of a rotation of the drive wheel (gear 63) due to the threaded connection. As a consequence of this adjustment, the coupling piece 65 connected to the spindle 61, and with it the swivel drive element 68, is adjusted directly or, as in this case, indirectly via at least one drive element 67. As a result of this adjustment, the swivel drive element 68 pivots about the swivel bearing 38. This pivoting movement is transmitted to the gear element 31. Due to the gearing with the gear element 37, the gear element 31 rotates relative to the gear element 37. In doing so, the furniture component coupling piece 20 connected to the gear element 31 is pivoted about the swivel bearing 35. In this way, the two furniture components 101 and 102 can be pivoted relative to each other. As can be seen in Fig. 6, the furniture drive 10 also includes the translational drive 70. The translational drive 70 serves to adjust the pivot transmission mechanism 30 together with the furniture component coupling piece 20 relative to the furniture component coupling piece 50. For this purpose, the translational drive 70 has a sliding piece 71, which serves to transmit the translational movement between the pivot mechanism 30 and the furniture component coupling piece 50 directly or indirectly. The sliding piece 71 may, for this purpose, be supported against an adjusting element receptacle 57 of the furniture component coupling piece 50. The translational drive 70 may have a screw drive to effect the translational movement. For this purpose, the sliding piece 71 may, for example, form a threaded spindle with an external thread 75. A second output gear 73 with an internal thread is screwed onto the external thread 75. The second output gear 73 can be designed, in particular as a gear, preferably as a helical gear. The output gear 73 is rotatably mounted by means of bearings 74, for example on a housing of the furniture drive 10. The sliding piece 71 is held at its longitudinal ends. As mentioned above, the furniture component coupling piece 50 has an adjusting piece receptacle 57 for this purpose, which holds one end of the sliding piece 71. The other end of the sliding piece 71 is held by a spindle holder 76 of the adjusting element 40. When the output wheel 73 is turned on the external thread 75 of the sliding piece 71, the distance between the furniture component coupling piece 50 and the actuator 40 changes in order to effect the translational movement. Fig. 6 shows that preferably both output gears 63, 73 are driven together by a single drive. For this purpose, it can be provided, for example, that both output gears 63, 73 are driven by a transmission gear 84. The transmission gear 84 can, for example, be designed as a worm gear with which the two output gears 63, 73 mesh, preferably on diametrically opposite sides of the worm gear. If the transmission gear 84 is now rotated, the two output gears 63, 73 are rotated in opposite directions. Thus, the spindle 61 and the sliding piece 71 are also moved in opposite directions. This causes the furniture component coupling pieces 20, 50 to become increasingly spaced away from the actuator 40 during a pivoting movement towards smaller pivot angles. The transmission gear 84 can be non-rotatably connected to a transmission shaft 83. As shown in Fig. 7, the transmission shaft 83 can carry a pinion 82 that meshes with the teeth of a drive shaft 81. The drive shaft 81 is driven by an electric motor 80. Thus, rotation of the electric motor 80 causes rotation of the transmission shaft 83 and the transmission gear 84. A motor control unit 85 is used to control the electric motor 80; this unit can be housed in a casing of the furniture drive 10. In particular, the motor control unit 85 may be arranged in a multi-part motor housing. This is shown in Fig. 4. As can be seen from this illustration, the motor housing has two motor housing parts 86, 87. The motor housing is mounted on the inside of the housing of the actuator 40. Figures 4 and 5 illustrate that the actuator 40 may have a multi-part housing in which the rotary drive 60, the translation drive 70 and / or the rotary transmission mechanism 30 are at least partially enclosed. The housing has at least two housing parts 41, 42. It is possible that at least one of the housing parts 41, 42 has a projection 41.1, 41.2 which forms the toothed element 37 with its toothing 38. In the present embodiment, both housing parts 41, 42 are each formed with a projection 41.1, 42.1, wherein each projection 41.1, 42.1 forms a partial toothing to create the toothing element 37. Advantageously, the rotary drive element 68 is guided through the parting plane of the two housing parts 41, 42. Figures 6 and 7 show an example of a possible construction of the furniture component coupling piece 50. As these illustrations show, the furniture component coupling piece 50 may have a cover 51 to which at least one guide element 52, 53 is coupled. In the present embodiment, guide elements 52, 53 are connected to opposite sides of the cover 51. Advantageously, the guide elements 52, 53 are angled as a single unit from the cover 51 and spaced apart from each other. It can also be provided that the guide elements 52, 53 have an angled section 52.1, 53.1 at their free ends. At its longitudinal end, the furniture component coupling piece 50 forms a receptacle 54 into which a support element 55 is inserted. The structure of the support element 55 is shown more clearly in Fig. 6. Figures 4 and 7 show an example of a possible structure of the support element 55. As these illustrations demonstrate, the support element 55 has a top side 55.1 and, opposite it, a bottom side 55.3. The top side 55.1 and the bottom side 55.3 are connected by side walls 55.2. At least one of the side walls 55.2 can have a screw receptacle 55.4. As Fig. 6 further shows, the support element 55 may have a recess 56 and the adjusting piece receptacle 57 on the inside. The support element 55 can be inserted into the receptacle 54, preferably then completely sealing this receptacle 54. The support element 55 can be screwed to the cover 51 (screw receptacles 55.4). In the assembled state, the support element 55 with its side walls 55.2 rests against the inside of the cover 51 or against the angled sections 52.1, 53.1. Fig. 6 illustrates that the sliding piece 71 with its end support piece 72 is inserted into the adjusting piece receptacle 57. The longitudinal end of the spindle 61 can retract into the recess 56 during adjustment. Preferably, the actuator 40 has a sliding guide 43 which forms a longitudinal guide with at least one of the guide elements 52, 53 of the furniture component coupling piece 50. In the present embodiment, both guide elements 52, 53 form a guide on opposite sides of the housing of the actuator 40 in order to create a tilt-resistant sliding guide for the furniture component coupling piece 50. Fig. 8 illustrates an embodiment in which a furniture drive 10 according to Figs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 to 7 is used. The transmission shaft 83 of this furniture drive 10 is coupled to another furniture drive 10. Preferably, this other furniture drive 10 is identical or substantially identical in construction to the furniture drive 10 described above, except that the other furniture drive does not have an electric motor 80 and consequently also not the two motor housing parts 86, 87. The drive shaft 83 is directly or indirectly coupled to the transmission gear 84 of the other furniture drive 10 in a rotationally fixed manner. When the electric motor 80 is activated, the transmission shaft 83 is rotated, thereby synchronously adjusting both furniture drives 10. This allows the swiveling furniture component 102 to be pivoted relative to the stationary furniture component 101 at two points spaced apart from each other. Figures 9 and 10 show a further embodiment of the invention. This embodiment is essentially identical in construction to the embodiment according to Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 to 7, so that only the differences need to be discussed below. The same reference numerals denote the same components. As Figures 9 and 10 show, the swivel drive 60 again has a screw drive which adjusts a drive element 67 via a coupling piece 65. The drive element 67 is pivotably coupled to the swivel drive element 68. The swivel drive element 68 engages laterally with the furniture component coupling piece 20 and is also pivotably mounted laterally on the sliding piece 40.
