Abstract

The invention relates to a steering wheel for a motor vehicle, comprising a steering wheel rim, wherein the steering wheel is switchable in order to flatten the steering wheel rim in an area that is elastic and segmented from the rest of the steering wheel rim by means of pivot points, by means of an electromechanical actuator unit. The invention further relates to a steering wheel with a switchable surface and to a motor vehicle in which a steering wheel according to the invention is installed.
