Abstract
According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for detecting an anomaly in a storage battery comprises: calculating an initial holding deformation amount of a target prismatic cell in a stack of prismatic cells based on process data obtained during a manufacturing process; calculating a deformation amount of the bottom surface of the casing of the target prismatic cell based on the initial holding deformation amount and usage history data; and issuing a first warning in response to the deformation amount of the bottom surface of the casing exceeding a predetermined first threshold.
