Abstract

A storage compartment (1) for a storage space (4) located in the front area (2) of a vehicle (3), in particular a battery-electric vehicle, especially a frunk, with a base body (5) which is partially designed as a tub (6), in particular as a frunk tub, wherein the base body (5) is designed as a stiffening element (7) and has two strut connections (9) to connect the base body (5) directly or indirectly to strut towers of the vehicle (3) by means of the strut connections (9), so that the base body (5) fulfills the function of a strut brace. Furthermore, a vehicle (3) with such a storage compartment (1) is described.
