Abstract
The invention relates to an AS-i power supply (1) and a self-contained AS-i fieldbus system (40) for mobile or off-grid operation. To enable the use of AS-i systems independent of an AC power grid, an AS-i power supply (1) is proposed which has a wide-range DC voltage input (10) for connection to a DC voltage source (30), such as a battery or a solar cell. An internal DC / DC converter circuit (11) converts the input voltage into the required, symmetrical AS-i bus nominal voltage. An integrated data decoupling circuit (21) ensures, through its defined impedance, the simultaneous transmission of power and AS-i data signals on a common two-wire line.
