Abstract

The present invention relates to a computer-aided method for providing control data for a charging process of a traction battery of an electric vehicle, comprising: providing (10) charging intensity data by means of an interface of an electric vehicle for manual input of charging intensity data, wherein the charging intensity data includes at least information about the maximum charging intensity of an upcoming charging process; providing (20) a vehicle control system that is configured to receive charging intensity data and to provide control data for a charging process of a traction battery based on the charging intensity data; providing (30) control data for a charging process of a traction battery by the vehicle control system using the provided charging intensity data.
