Abstract

The invention relates to a tool for use as a lower tool in a blanking unit of a sheet-fed machine, wherein the tool is configured as a lower blanking tool of a whole-sheet delivery configuration, wherein the tool has a frame enclosing an internal space for guiding a sheet, and wherein the tool has at least one side edge stop configured for contacting a side edge of the sheet and / or at least one trailing edge stop configured for contacting a trailing edge of the sheet, wherein the at least one side edge stop and / or the at least one trailing edge stop is configured as a stop that actively moves during substrate processing. The invention further relates to a method for aligning a sheet in a sheet-fed machine.
