PCB fuse box with ribs and seal

Abstract

A system comprises a fuse box with a base and a cover that attaches to the base. The base has side walls and a bottom wall that define an internal compartment with an open top over which the cover can be fitted. A spacer rib extends from one of the side walls into the internal compartment. This spacer rib defines a slot adjacent to the bottom wall. A printed circuit board (PCB) is located within the internal compartment. The PCB has connector terminals that extend through one of the side walls. An edge portion of the PCB extends into the slot, and the spacer rib prevents the PCB from moving toward the open side.
